Derby's hopes of potentially gaining a play-off place in their bid to be promoted have received a massive boost.

The club's official Twitter account posted an image of Chelsea loanee Mason Mount returning to training, news which was obviously received in a hugely positive fashion by supporters.

Derby currently sit two places and a point outside of the playoffs in the Championship but with Mount back in the team, they could witness a resurgence under Frank Lampard. So much so, it led to one supporter claiming promotion was confirmed.

Fans of the Rams were very excited to see him return to training reflecting upon the attacking midfielder's form earlier in the season.

One individual hoped for a similar return from the 20-year-old's first ten games with the club, where he scored four times and claimed one assist in all competitions.

Another supporter meanwhile focused on what they thought was Derby's last semi-decent performance; a game against Norwich at the end of 2018 when Mount last found the net.

The creative man has missed nearly two months through injury but has still racked up 32 appearances, scoring six and laying on two goals for his teammates.

Here's the best of the reaction.
