Ashley Cole is still going strong even though he already has 38 years on his back.

The iconic left-back was last seen defending Derby County's colours, led by his ex-teammate Frank Lampard, and had a decent season in the Championship despite not earning promotion.

Even though he only played a total of eight games in the competition, he gave a decent return of two assists throughout that short spell. Still, he was officially released by the club and is now a free agent.

Right now though, Cole is very much in holiday mode, enjoying his time with his family at Forte Village Resort with Chelsea youngsters and his own kids.

He was quick to share this with his fans in his latest

Another legend of the game, Sol Campbell, replied to Cole's snap asking him if he would be interested in a new gig under his watch. This was probably just a joke, although it could be the Macclesfield manager's cheeky attempt to bring a highly-decorated talent to the depths of League Two.

There were also some teammates and coaches commenting below the snap with the likes of Jody Morris and Kelle Roos joining in the fun.

Cole is reportedly pondering retirement after his short campaign with Derby but nothing has been made official just yet.
