Ajax star Eyong Enoh has been told by Martin Jol he must wait until the summer to find out if his loan deal will be made permanent.
The 27-year-old, who joined Fulham from the Dutch giants in January on a deal until the end of this current campaign, has recovered from missing all of March by featuring in the Cottagers’ last five matches.
Enoh boosted his hopes of remaining at Craven Cottage with an impressive performance in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal.
However, Jol was keeping his cards close to his chest when quizzed about the prospect of the Cameroon international staying in London.
He said: “We have got an option to buy him, but it is still quite a few bob, so maybe I have to be creative and come up with other solutions.
“The option is there, but I have got one or two other options as well so it is a decision for the end of the season.”
