Vitoria Guimares have revealed that they are yet to have received an official approach for defender Mahamadou N’Diaye.
The Mali international is a reported target for Fulham, who have sent scouts to watch him on several occasions in recent months.
Their interest has sparked speculation that N’Diaye may be on the move, with a summer switch the most likely outcome.
But, Vitoria say that there has been no contact with any other club regarding the 22-year-old, and they will not make any decisions until the end of the season:
“Formally we have not received any propositions,” representatives of the club told Sky Sports.
“It is normal we would look at this at the end of the season.”
N’Niaye has seen his reputation sky-rocket in recent times, with a series of notable displays in the Portuguese top-flight and at the Africa Cup of Nations alerting clubs from across Europe to his potential.
After impressing as a youngster in his home nation with Tontien Bamoko, the powerful centre-half moved to Moroccan outfit Wydad Casablanca.
More consistent displays lead to interest from Vitoria, who swooped for his signature in 2010.
At 6ft. 1”, N’Diaye has gained a reputation for being a domineering defender, but he matches his physical presence with a sound reading of the game and good pace.
