Huddersfield fans on Twitter are hoping that the club keep hold of Steve Mounie as they prepare for their return to the Championship.

The Benin international joined Town for a club record fee back in 2017 and was a massive part in the Yorkshire club beating the drop that season.

He hit seven goals during his first campaign, including a brace on his debut against Crystal Palace.

In the past 12 months, his form has dipped significantly as he scored just twice in 2018/19 as the Terriers were relegated from the Premier League.

Fans are hoping that the drop down to the second division may see him recapture his form, but they may never find out as he has been linked with a move to Olympiakos.

Many are hoping that that move doesn’t come to fruition as Mounie could be one of the most prolific strikers in the Championship.
