Loads of Leeds fans have been running the rule over their win at Bramall Lane, as Liam Cooper is set to miss considerable time with a possible knee injury.
Leeds grabbed their third consecutive win to briefly go top of the table on Saturday afternoon, but the 1-0 victory may have come at a huge cost.
Captain Cooper limped off around the 20 minute mark with what appeared to be a knee injury, and Marcelo Bielsa’s post-match comments are quite concerning.
“It’s an important injury. It’s not a ligament injury but it’s a serious one,” the boss said.
While the fact that there is no ligament damage is of course fantastic news, Leeds can’t really afford an injury of any kind.
Gaetano Berardi and Luke Ayling are already out until the New Year, and Bielsa is now down to bare bones at the back.
Cooper was hugely criticised by fans for his performances under Paul Heckingbottom, but the captain has been a man reborn this season, and his injury is a huge setback for the Whites entering the busy festive period.

Flip me. Not one injury has been a dead leg back the next game situation. Every single one is 6 weeks minimum.
