Bring him home: Leeds fans want Lasogga back

Leeds United fans on Twitter have been clamouring for the return of Pierre-Michel Lasogga after he was released from Hamburg.

The striker spent the 2017/18 season on loan at the Yorkshire club after being signed by Thomas Christiansen, and spectators were clearly impressed with what they saw as they now want him to return to Elland Road.

The German netted 10 goals in 31 appearances in the Championship during his time at the club, but many believe he will be better under Bielsa.

One supporter claimed that he would “rip this league apart” under the Argentine due to the number of chances United create.

The Whites’ conversion rate doesn’t make for pretty reading, and perhaps Lasogga is the answer when it comes to finding the back of the net next season.

It remains to be seen whether or not Victor Orta and Andrea Radrizzani decide to move for their former man, but if they did, it would prove to be a popular decision across the city.
