Four reasons Leeds United have turned their season around

Following a 1-0 home defeat against Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town in September, Leeds United once again appeared to be in disarray after taking just four points from their opening six Championship matches, which had left them 22nd in the table.

Rumours started flying around that yet another managerial change could be made by Massimo Cellino with yet another disappointing season in the pipeline, but Garry Monk avoided the chop and has turned his side’s fortunes around in the following six weeks.

The Whites are now ninth and just one point outside of the play-off positions, and there is a real feel-good factor around Elland Road at the moment – especially following their 2-0 home win against Burton Albion on Saturday.
