George Saville would be the perfect fit for Marcelo Bielsa’s new Leeds United

Leeds United are interested in signing Millwall midfielder George Saville according to The Daily Mail.

What’s the story?

The 25-year-old is a product of the Chelsea academy and enjoyed a fine season for Millwall last year, scoring ten goals after signing for a reported £350,000 from Wolves.

The goalscoring midfielder, who is now valued at £1.35million on Transfermarkt, is a reported target for Aston Villa and Leeds as both squads look to strengthen during the final week of the transfer window.

Class addition

Saville showed last season he is a real asset at Championship level and the box to box midfielder would provide the goals and the energy that Marcelo Bielsa is looking for.

It would take quite a substantial bid to prise him away from Millwall, particularly with Aston Villa also interested who are buoyed by their recent investment.

However, he could play a really big part in the middle of the park for Leeds and help them achieve their goal of reaching the Premier League if Victor Orta manages to see off the competition to land the talent.
