It would be fair to say that it has not quite happened for Izzy Brown since the attacker joined Leeds United on loan from Chelsea last August.
Indeed, the 22-year-old has only made one Championship appearance this season.
Speaking at his press conference ahead of this weekend’s clash with Birmingham City, Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa provided an update on Brown.
Indeed, Bielsa claimed that the on-loan Chelsea ace had been struggling with a minor injury in the build-up to the clash with Millwall last weekend, but could well be involved against Birmingham on Saturday.
Brown has played a lot of football for the club’s Under-23 side this season – helping them win their league title – but it has been a hugely frustrating campaign at senior level.
The Leeds fans have been on social media commenting on the situation and it would be fair to say that a number have differing views:
Must be laughing. Being payed a fortune for being injured!!

Good player when fit, but signing anyone in recovery from an ACL injury was odd.
