Leeds fans can’t believe Aston Villa’s valuation of Kalvin Phillips after it was reported that the Midlands club are preparing a £14m offer for their star man.
United supporters believe he is worth a lot more than that after his incredible season under the management of Marcelo Bielsa.
They have every right to value the midfielder at higher than £14m as well. Prices in the Championship continue to rise, with Leeds even being quoted £12m for Ryan Kent, so Phillips going for just £2m more than that would be a poor business decision for Leeds.
United are heading into a season where anything less than promotion would be deemed as failure, and if they want to make their return to the Premier League they will have to keep hold of their strongest players.
Andrea Radrizzani and Victor Orta must be very careful if they choose to sell the 23-year-old, because if they don’t get a good fee for him they will receive a huge amount of backlash from the fanbase.

For which leg?

If Harry Wilson is apparently worth £22 million, Kalvin is £30 million!

For which leg left or Right 14m for Philips is insulting ???

Genuinely wouldn’t sell him for 40m. He’s so key to the way we play. I’d like to laugh this off but this is leeds. We sell key players every transfer window. We must not sell Phillips.
