Leeds fans have been discussing the future of Paul Heckingbottom, and let’s just say the manager might want to stay off Twitter for a while.
When Paul Heckingbottom replaced Thomas Christiansen in February, most Leeds fans were hopeful but not optimistic that he could get their playoff chances back on track.
After a bad start to his Leeds career fans were split on the manager’s future, but that has changed.
The 40 year-old had limited managerial experience, and none at a big club, so it is perhaps no surprise that he has struggled as much as he has.
Heckingbottom’s side have won just three times since he took over, and if the season started at the beginning of the calendar year Leeds would be in a relegation scrap.
Of course, fans don’t want to start next season in the kind of form they’re ending this one in, and they’re all in agreement that the manager is out of his depth.
After picking up a win against Barnsley, some fans felt the boss deserved a transfer window to mould his team, but the lack of improvement in the current players and another lifeless performance in the loss at Norwich has quashed any such ideas.
Some of the best Twitter reactions can be found below…
should be gone after the final whistle on Sunday, start fresh for next season. He's somehow made this lot play worse. If he is planning for next season why keep picking Lasogga, he will not be here next year, If he is the manager next season I predict a long hard season

He’s not the right man to lead us to the next level next season, I’ve not seen anything from him and his Leeds side that can challenge next season. The team seems to be just going through the motions and he just identifies negatives but those same negatives happen in every game

If PH stays it won’t just be next season we will 100% go down to league 1. Took us three years to get out of there before we could be wasting 4 years plus if we keep PH past Sunday

Get rid or waste another season. Want to have excitement and ambition, and a head coach as the figurehead.

A thousand no's. Should never have been appointed in the 1st place.

You know things aren't going well when you're constantly checking Twitter for managerial news.
Think most are just fed up with Hecky at this point. We all didn't really want him but tried to get behind him. And it just isn't ever gonna work with him and the fans, is it?
