Leeds fans are not impressed by the news that Stuart Dallas has withdrawn from the Northern Ireland squad because of an injury.
Leeds United winger Stuart Dallas has withdrawn from the Northern Ireland squad due to a thigh strain. Dallas, who has 28 caps for his nation, could miss the Championship clash with Bolton next weekend.
Dallas only has two goals and one assist in the league for Leeds this season, but is still one of the most dangerous players at Elland Road. The 26 year-old joined from Brentford in 2015, and has made 100 league appearances since the move.
The Northern Irishman was crowned the players’ player of the year after the 2015-16 season, but returned from Euro 2016 with injury problems and missed the first half of the following season.
Leeds fans are understandably growing frustrated with the amount of injuries their side has suffered this season, and the fact that this is not the first time Dallas has been damaged during an international break will be even more infuriating.
While a few fans are simply wishing their man all the best, plenty are simply getting fed up. Some of the best Twitter reactions to Dallas’ injury can be found below…
