Leeds fans are all puzzled after Clarke Oduor’s permanent exit from Elland Road

Leeds saw two players depart for Championship rivals on transfer deadline day as first Tom Pearce completed a permanent switch to Wigan.

Yet, Clarke Oduor, rather more surprisingly, headed to Barnsley late in the window too.

The versatile wide man was behind a number of players in the pecking order, particularly on the left-hand side but to see him move away permanently rather than on a temporary switch has caused some debate amongst Leeds fans.

After seeing the news on Twitter, they flocked to the social media platform to have their say. One supporter said that questions needed asking of Andrea Radrizzani whilst another labelled the move as very strange.

A host of fans were left puzzled by the transfer. One posed the question of what the point of their academy was whilst another couldn’t get their head around what was going on.

Oduor only signed a new deal in February, meaning Leeds have taken a u-turn on his future by selling him this summer.

The 20-year-old had only featured once for the Leeds senior team, appearing for three minutes in the FA Cup.

Here’s the best of the reaction.
