Leeds fans are all saying the same thing about Adam Forshaw after his latest quotes

Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw has issued a rallying call to his teammates following the club’s 3-0 defeat at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road on Wednesday night, and Whites fans are all saying the same thing about the January addition.

The Yorkshire outfit signed the 26-year-old from Middlesbrough in a £4.5m deal during the previous transfer window, but while he is yet to taste victory for his new team despite making seven Championship appearances for them, he has impressed the Elland Road faithful for his displays with previous calls for him to get the captain’s armband.

The defeat to Wolves in midweek has all but ended their promotion hopes for another year, but Forshaw says the players “need to step and be counted” for the remainder of the campaign, starting when they face strugglers Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday.

Leeds supporters were quick to have their say on the midfielder’s comments via social media, and they are all thinking the same thing about his obvious leadership qualities.

While one said “make him captain”, another said “Adam Forshaw for captain”.
