Leeds fans are buzzing as their side edge out Bolton

Leeds United broke their four-game winless run with a 2-1 home win over relegation-battlers Bolton Wanderers on Good Friday, thanks to goals from Caleb Ekuban and Pablo Hernandez.

Two goals to the good after fifty minutes, it looked as if it would be a comfortable afternoon’s work for Paul Heckingbottom’s side but Adam Le Fondre netted within three minutes of Hernandez’s strike to set up a nervous final 35 minutes.

That precarious one-goal advantage was not exactly ideal for the confidence of either the fans or the players but the Whites held out to get the victory they needed.

Nervous as it was, the triumph was certainly the best way for Leeds fans to start their long Easter weekend and should give them confidence ahead of the televised trip to high-flying Fulham on Tuesday night.

The Leeds faithful were overjoyed to have broken the run of games without a victory before it got out of hand – as it did at the turn of the year – and we’ve taken a closer look at the best of the reaction.
