Leeds United have had a slow transfer window, with Chelsea loanee Lewis Baker the only arrival to Elland Road this summer and fans are starting to get frustrated.
Things got worse yesterday as long-time transfer target Matej Vydra’s move to Leeds was in jeopardy due to his high wage demands, goalkeeping target Angus Gunn edged closer to a move to Southampton, and West Bromwich Albion look to have won the race to sign Kyle Bartley.
Although the Whites have managed to appoint big-name manager Marcelo Bielsa, their player recruitment has been severely lacking and none of their many reported targets appear close to a move.

Leeds ownwer Andrea Radrizzani chose an inopportune moment to tweet about his sightseeing at the World Cup in Russia and fans reacted furiously as they thought he wasn’t taking the transfer window seriously.
Here’s a selection of what Leeds fans replied to Radizzani and it’s clear to see they’re not impressed.
‘Bad news – the Vydra deal is off. The good news is I’m having a lovely holiday in Russia. You’re still thinking about the bad news, aren’t you?’ pic.twitter.com/q2PJlEj857

I’m not being funny but if Villa’s owner can come out with a list of answers explaining everything their supporters want to know then why can’t you …
It’s bad that we’ve all got to ask @PhilHayYEP for information about what’s actually happening …

@andrearadri think you’ll find the timing off this tweet to be quite unfortunate. I appreciate everyone needs a break boss, but there’s work to be done & it doesn’t seem like there’s much going on at ER.
