Leeds fans are unhappy with Barry Douglas form

Barry Douglas was outstanding for Wolverhampton Wanderers last season and there was a lot of excitement when Leeds United were able to sign him in the summer.

The 29-year-old has found it difficult to show his best form for the Whites this season, however, and the Leeds fans have decided to let him know about it.

Douglas did register his fourth Championship assist of the season against Norwich City at the weekend, but could not prevent his side from suffering a 3-1 loss.

The 5ft 10in ace was actually a half-time substitute against the Canaries, having been on the sidelines in recent weeks through injury.

On Monday, Leeds’ official Twitter account drew attention to the fact that Douglas had contributed an assist against Norwich.

However, it would be fair to say that the social media post did not go down very well with United fans, who have criticised the Scot.

Indeed, a number have claimed that they have been disappointed with what they have seen from Douglas throughout the 2018-19 campaign.
