Leeds fans are calling for Carlos Corberán to replace Paul Heckingbottom after the Spaniard’s Under-23 side delivered yet another devastating display.

It’s been a pretty torrid end to the season for Leeds, but not so much at the youth level, as Carlos Corberán’s youngsters continued their fantastic form on Monday night with a 4-0 win over Bristol City.

After an inconsistent start to the season, the U23’s have now won seven of their last nine, scoring 23 goals across those nine games.

Paul Heckingbottom grabbed his third win as Leeds manager on Saturday, but fans are still fed up of the ex-Barnsley man.

With Corberán not only delivering results at the youth level but also quite simply fantastic attacking performances, some fans are calling for Heckingbottom to be replaced from within, hoping the 35 year-old can carry his exciting football to the senior side.

There are plenty of names on the fan wish list if Heckingbottom does leave, with Mick McCarthy being one name that has been mentioned a lot amongst the Elland Road faithful.
