Leeds United are interested in signing striker Jordan Hugill from West Ham on loan next season according to The Yorkshire Evening Post.
The 26-year-old joined Preston North End in 2014 and spent his first season out on loan before he broke into the first team.
The target-man then impressed for the Lilywhites, going on to score 23 goals for the club before he made a reported £10million move to the Hammers on deadline day in January.

Hugill has struggled to break into the first team and was limited to only three substitute appearances totalling 22 minutes for the Irons.
The striker has now been linked with a move back to the Championship as Marcelo Bielsa looks to strengthen his attack and a season-long loan could be on the cards for Leeds.
The Elland Road faithful have been reacting to the transfer news on Twitter and here’s a selection of some of their best comments.
Would be very happy with Hugill as #9 and Vydra as #10. ?? #lufc

Hernandez over hugill any days better goal scorer for sure plus free, yes the wages will be higher but I’m sure West Ham wont loan him out without a decent loan fee

Would be the ideal foil for vydra he will allow him to play, if vydra gets 20 he would need to contribute 10 or so perfect 9 and 10 for me?

Not a fan of Hugill don’t think he’s that good tbh but don’t mind him with Vydra just not instead off worries me

I thought Bielsa liked a mobile front three? Hugil is the opposite of mobile

Don’t rate Hugill one bit

I’d take Hugill, big, strong and scores goals, reminds me of someone 🤔 #lufc

Yes Hugill isn't massively prolific, but with Vydra just behind him, plus Saiz, that makes a quality strike force at this level #lufc
