Phil Hay provided an update from Marcelo Bielsa’s pre-match press conference ahead of their clash with Stoke this weekend, detailing the Whites’ injury concerns.
The Argentine declared that Stuart Dallas and Liam Cooper could both be out.
Marcelo Bielsa is here for his press conference. Dallas and Cooper are out. Shackleton comes in for Dallas at Stoke. Berardi comes in for Cooper. #lufc

It was a piece of news that worried some Leeds fans, however, as they appeared concerned by the fact that Gaetano Berardi might be back in the side.
The Swiss defender is yet to start in the Championship this year and certain supporters of the club don’t want that to change. He was branded a liability by two individuals, being described as not good enough.
A further fan said they didn’t want the 31-year-old anywhere near the side. One even said they’d rather have Pascal Struijk in the team.
Berardi started 12 times in the Championship last season, a term which saw him pick up a red card in the playoffs.
His discipline has been a cause for concern throughout his time at Elland Road, receiving six in league action after arriving during the 2014/15 campaign.
It’s perhaps understandable that Leeds fans don’t want him to play.
Here’s the best of their reaction on Twitter.
I don’t want Beradi anywhere near the first team ever again

I hope Liam Cooper manages to start tomorrow
I don’t like to see Beraradi in the center of defence in a back four ?

Berardi is just not good enough for this team, he is a liability with his slow pace and lunging tackles

Rather have Struijk, Berardi is a liability

And this here is exactly why we needed another CB. Berardi at CB is nothing more than makeshift, and clearly they don’t think Struijk is ready.
