Leeds United suffered a 2-1 defeat at Queens Park Rangers on Sunday afternoon as they exited the FA Cup in the third round of the competition.
And the club’s supporters were not happy with the performance of Ezgjan Alioski.
The 26-year-old has scored four times and contributed three assists in 26 Championship appearances during the 2018-19 campaign.
However, a number of his displays have frustrated the Leeds fans in recent weeks.
And the club’s supporters again expressed their displeasure when discussing Alioski’s performance against the R’s at Loftus Road.
The versatile attacker played the full 90 minutes in a wide position, but struggled to make his mark as Leeds lost for the third time in their last three matches.
It seems that the Leeds fans agree when it comes to Alioski’s work-rate, but have seriously doubted whether he is a good enough footballer to be be operating at this level.
A selection of the Twitter reaction can be seen below:
He is in the team purely because of his workrate. He offers nothing going forward. A winger that doesnr take men on. Is our weak link pure and simple

No Alioski sentence is ever complete without “works hard” . Whilst I agree I could find a thousand lads in Leeds who would do the same. Also getting a bad reputation with refs. Forever in arguments or diving about.

Dont think he has gone passed a player with the ball since that Forrest game two seasons ago and that was pure luck.

He’s so error prone and inconsistent. I think most people appreciate his workrate but he needs to improve.

The man is incapable of crossing a ball. It baffles me

Can we sub Pearce back on for him?

I know Alioski works hard, so I can see why he’s picked sometimes, but he’s absolutely awful at everything else a winger should be good at. Such a frustrating player. #LUFC
