Leeds fans were understandably frustrated during and after their encounter with Charlton on Saturday.
Macauley Bonne’s goal was the difference as Marcelo Bielsa’s men dropped to fourth in the league.
One of the players that fans took issue with was Jamie Shackleton who again started in central midfield despite Adam Forshaw returning to the squad.
At one point during the game a supporter wanted him to get off the pitch while another branded the youngster as not good enough.
A further individual said he was a passenger throughout the encounter as it was claimed he wasn’t ready to start matches.
The 19-year-old was starting his third game in a row for the Whites but was dragged off at half time.
Shackleton managed one unsuccessful touch and was also dispossessed as he failed to create a single chance or have a shot, via WhoScored.
With Forshaw now back and Tyler Roberts also fit again, his place could be under threat.
Here’s the best of the reaction from Twitter.

Alioski and Shackleton are not good enough ?.
I’d love to see Roberts or Clarke replace Shackleton at the break. #LUFC

Shackleton is a passenger. #lufc

Jamie Shackleton looks fairly decent coming off the bench but has no impact at all when starting games.

Wouldn’t be upset if Bamford & Harrison never pulled a Leeds shirt on again. Shackleton isn’t ready or will take a long time to get there. Must play Eddie & Roberts next game, time to accept less ‘chances’ in return for actual goals.

Shackleton poor , Phillips not his usual self , Harrison is his usual self ???

I’ll say it. Shackleton no where near confident enough to be in this 11. Never commits to anything he does.
