Leeds fans delighted with Barry Douglas performance

Barry Douglas made his return from injury in Leeds United’s 2-1 win over Wigan Athletic in the Championship on Sunday afternoon.

Douglas had missed four league fixtures in a row for the Whites, but was back in the team against Wigan, and put in a strong performance to help his team triumph.

The 29-year-old moved to Elland Road from Wolverhampton Wanderers during the recent summer transfer window, and he has proved to be a fine addition.

Indeed, Douglas already has three Championship assists to his name this term, and there is no question that he is one of the most talented defenders in the second tier.

The Leeds fans were absolutely delighted to have Douglas back in the fold at the weekend, and took to social media to pay tribute to the Scot.

The 5ft 10in ace will now be hoping to help his team collect another three points from this weekend’s trip to West Bromwich Albion.
