Leeds United moved three points clear at the top of the Championship table courtesy of a 3-0 win over Preston North End on Tuesday night.
Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford are currently on the sidelines for Leeds, which meant that there was a start at centre-forward for Tyler Roberts.
The 19-year-old joined Leeds from West Bromwich Albion in January, but did not feature for the Whites in the second half of last season due to injury.
Roberts made his Championship debut for Leeds in their 1-1 draw against Millwall at the weekend, before scoring his first league goals for the club in the win over Preston.
Indeed, Roberts netted his first in the 74th minute at Elland Road, before completing his brace in the 82nd minute to secure all three points for the Whites.
The two-time Wales international had a tough time at Leeds when he first arrived, but it certainly appears that the teenager is ready to prove his worth at Elland Road.
A selection of the Twitter reaction from the Leeds fans can be seen below:

I did say after the first it would do wonders for his confidence, I didn’t expect it to have such quick results
