Leeds fans deliver verdict on Mateusz Klich after Guiseley display

Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich impressed and got on the score-sheet in his side’s 4-3 pre-season friendly win against Guiseley on Thursday night, and Whites fans were quick to have their say on his display.

The Poland international only joined the Yorkshire outfit from FC Twente last summer, but he struggled to make the grade under former boss Thomas Christiansen, and he was loaned back to the Eredivisie with Utrecht during the January transfer window, where he impressed.

The 28-year-old has since returned to Elland Road and has been trying to impress new manager Marcelo Bielsa during pre-season, and he certainly would have done that with his latest showing – scoring once and providing a nice ball for the fourth goal.

Leeds supporters, some of whom have delivered their verdict on a potential move for a £100,000-a-week Premier League striker, took to social media to give their thoughts on Klich’s performance, and while one simply labelled him as “class”, another said he “could be a big player for us”.
