Eunan O’Kane joined Leeds United from Bournemouth in the summer of 2016, and the midfielder has made 58 appearances for the Whites in all competitions.
Last term, the midfielder made 32 Championship appearances, but did not score a single goal, and only registered three assists during a disappointing campaign.
The 28-year-old still has three years left to run on his contract at Leeds, but it would be fair to say that the club’s supporters want him sold in this summer’s transfer window.
It was actually O’Kane’s birthday earlier this week, and as expected, Leeds’ official Twitter account was on hand with a special message, but the same cannot be said for the club’s supporters.
Indeed, a number took to social media to urge their club to sell the 5ft 8in midfielder ahead of the new Championship season, which gets underway next month.
It would be fair to say that it has been a frustrating summer thus far for Leeds, who look set to miss out on Derby County’s Matej Vydra, and the club’s fans want some good news – in their opinion – regarding the future of O’Kane.
