Leeds United are looking to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman according to Phil Hay of the Yorkshire Evening Post.
It had looked like Manchester City shot-stopper Angus Gunn would be on his way to Elland Road this summer but Southampton have gazumped Leeds by signing the 22-year-old.
The Whites are now turning their interest to Chelsea’s 24-year-old Blackman who spent last season on loan at Sheffield United, making 31 appearances for the Blades, keeping eight clean sheets.
It’s unclear whether the Chelsea goalkeeper would join on loan or whether Leeds would look to permanently sign the £225,000 rated goalkeeper according to Transfermarkt.
Leeds have been very quiet in the transfer window, with fellow Chelsea player Lewis Baker joining the club on loan, and fans are growing frustrated with the lack of business and other clubs pipping them to key transfers.
Here’s a snapshot of what supporters are saying about the latest transfer link with Blackman.
We wont even get blackman we’d struggle to get a binman with our wage policy & ambition

Good job England are doing well otherwise imagine just having to wait for leeds to eventually make a signing so depressing ?

here we go cheapskate options again ! cant believe bielsa will stay too long with no quality to work with! False promises yet again from the top!

Blackman is better than Stockdale and the kind of dominating keeper we like to see, plus gives BPF the chance to keep learning and pressing ready to be number 1 with it only being a loan
