Leeds fans don’t want romantic return for Sam Byram

According to reliable source ExWHUEmployee, Leeds United are interested in bringing former defender Sam Byram back to Elland Road this summer.

The right-back moved from his boyhood club to West Ham in 2016 but has since struggled to make an impression for the Premier League outfit.

The 24-year-old has only made 17 Premier League starts since his move to the top-flight and it appears that West Ham are willing to let the player leave this summer.

Byram is comfortable playing as a right-back or higher up the pitch and can cause a real threat with his pacy runs from deep.

According to ExWHUEmployee, Nottingham Forest are also in the running to sign the player valued at £3.6million on Transfermarkt.

It claims that a loan deal could also be on the cards for the young defender and other unnamed Championship clubs are interested.
