Leeds United star Kemar Roofe is being linked with a move to Sheffield United and West Bromwich Albion according to Football Insider.
The versatile attacker finished as Leeds’ top goal scorer last season with 14 goals in all competitions.
The 25-year-old joined Leeds from Oxford United in 2016 where he won the League Two’s Player of the Year Award and he has since become an integral part of the Leeds squad.
Last year he was employed as a lone forward, a right winger and a left winger as Thomas Christiansen and Paul Heckinbottom tried to work out how best to employ the dangerman.
New boss Marcelo Bielsa has had a quiet transfer window, with Lewis Baker’s loan move the only arrival of the summer.
The Argentine manager would do well to stave off interest from West Brom and Stoke for the talented front-man and fans have been reacting to the latest rumours surrounding Roofe on social media.
I know Roofe divides opinion but I think it would be silly to sell him. Talented player who knows how to find the back of the net and versatile in a few positions. Keep. #LUFC

I think he will only get better under Bielsa, hus versatility, movement and creativity to get in behind will be key. Another season, another Roofe ?

Letting Roofe leave would be one of the stupidest decisions we’ve made in a long time, and that takes some doing https://t.co/OasItkGNjr
