Leeds fans excited about Mujica signing

Leeds United fans on Twitter are excited after Phil Hay reported that they are set to sign Rafa Mujica from Barcelona B.

The transfer had been in the makings for a few months. Reports in Spain linked the Whites to the 20-year-old weeks ago, and fans on Twitter had even speculated that he was at the training ground back in May.

It seems now though that Victor Orta and Andrea Radrizzani have managed to pull this one off, and United will have a new striker in their ranks.

The 20-year-old may only be a bit-part player next term. He has never proven himself at a top level, while Patrick Bamford and Kemar Roofe are both established Championship goalscorers having netted 24 goals between them last term, but fans are excited about his arrival nonetheless.

He scored seven goals last season for Barcelona B, and supporters are certainly looking forward to seeing him in the famous white shirt of Leeds United.
