Leeds fans on Twitter have taken aim at Manchester City and PSG after an incredible stat was posted on the social media platform.
Betting firm bet365 posted that despite spending over £2.5 billion between them neither City nor PSG have gotten further in the Champions League than Leeds United.

This was in the wake of the Manchester club being eliminated from the competition by Tottenham on Wednesday night.
Fans of the Yorkshire club revelled in the fact that their successes in 2001 is yet to be matched by two of the biggest clubs in the world.
Both City and the French club have received immense financial backing in the past decade allowing them to sign the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne.
The star-studded teams have often faltered in Europe with PSG only ever making it as far as the quarter-finals whilst City reached the semi-finals only once in 2016.
During this time Leeds haven’t spent a single season in the top flight of English football but their achievements in 2001 still matched anything that the oil-rich clubs have managed on Europe’s biggest stage.
Here’s what Leeds fans have been saying on Twitter…
City and PSG nothing but oil rich bottle jobs ?
