Leeds fans fuming after comparing Jansson and Mings fees

Leeds United fans on Twitter were furious after seeing that Tyrone Mings would be sold to Aston Villa for a fee that could rise to as high as £26.5m.

The Bournemouth defender has joined for an initial £20m, while Leeds are ready to sell Jansson for a measly £5.5m.

Jansson is arguably the better of the two defenders as well as he earned a spot in the PFA Championship Team of the Year ahead of the 26-year-old – although the latter did only move to Villa Park in January.

One fan stated that it makes his blood boil when he thinks about Jansson going for £5.5m and Mings going for £12m, but with the centre-back potentially costing more than double that amount, he will be absolutely fuming at the newest update.

United supporters have every right to be annoyed at this as Jansson is certainly worth more than the £5.5m they will receive for him – especially after the Whites rejected a £10m bid just last summer.
