Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich has been named in the Poland squad for their upcoming international matches against Austria and Latvia.
The 28-year-old is a 15-time Poland international and his strong form for Leeds in recent months has seen him earn another call-up for the national team.
Klich has scored seven goals and registered seven assists in 35 Championship appearances for the Whites during the 2018-19 campaign.
And Leeds will need the versatile midfielder fit and firing if they are to secure promotion to the Premier League for next season.
The Championship club’s fans have been on social media offering their views on Klich’s call-up and it would be fair to say that there was a mixed reaction.
Whilst many are happy for the former FC Twente ace, others are very concerned that he might pick up an injury during the upcoming international break.
A selection of the Twitter reaction can be seen below:
Say no. We need all his energy for our games.
