Leeds United and Brentford are interested in signing Amiens forward Moussa Konate according to French news outlet L’Équipe.
The 25-year-old has only played for Ligue 1 side Amiens for a year but had an impressive spell for the French club, scoring 13 goals in 33 league games.
The pacy striker was selected for Senegal’s World Cup squad in Russia this summer and made two substitution appearances for his country.
New boss Marcelo Bielsa got off to the dream start as Leeds blew Stoke City away 3-1 in their opening Championship fixture, with Barry Douglas the only new signing to start on Sunday.
Bamford was left waiting in the wings and if the latest reports are true, the big-money signing could have some competition if Victor Orta does seal a deal for Konate.

That Kounate looks quality, reminds me a little bit of Yeboah
