Leeds fans want to see more of Jay-Roy Grot after the youngster proved his worth with a goal on Saturday.
Paul Heckingbottom’s side have been dangerously short of goals this season, and the signings of Caleb Ekuban and Jay-Roy Grot had hardly made any impact at all.
Grot could certainly claim he hadn’t gotten a fair chance at the club, the 20 year-old is yet to start a game since his move from N.E.C. He was able to make an impact off the bench on Saturday though, as the youngster found his side’s only goal in the 2-1 defeat to Wednesday.
Grot has been in fine form for the U23s recently, grabbing two goals in a recent 2-0 win over Hull City. He rose highest to head home an equaliser for Leeds on Saturday, but it wasn’t enough to stop Wednesday taking all three points thanks to a brace from Atdhe Nuhiu.
With Leeds’ season now dangling by a thread, fans are calling for changes to the side, perhaps looking to the future with no chance of the club going up or down this year.

Jay-Roy Grot has been scoring for fun for reserves. Don’t know why he hasn’t been picked sooner. Hurry up and end the season. #LUFC

He’s had his fair share of abuse but fair play to the lad, looked over the moon to score and should do his confidence wonders, would play him at Bolton too from the start

Good to see Jay-Roy Grot score his first goal for us. Thought I was seeing things. Credit to him though, right place right time. One more league goal than Caleb Ekuban has managed. Like many of our players is he another one to start brightly but get found out 🤔🤔
