Leeds fans mock Niall Horran after Twitter gaff targeting club

The former One Direction star Niall Horran tweeted “No one likes Leeds”, but the backlash from Whites fans proves otherwise.

Horran had tweeted his support for Championship side Derby on Wednesday night as the Rams put four past West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns, leading to Irish radio presenter Crossy asking the singer to wish Leeds a bit of luck.

The win kept Derby in fifth place, but not long after tweeting his support for the side, he attempted to criticise the team at the top of the table.

Leeds beat Derby back in August, winning 4-1 at Pride Park amidst a strong early run of form.

Having dropped the pace in recent weeks, though, the Peacocks had slipped off the top spot, but the return of Pablo Hernandez to the starting eleven helped see off the threat of Ipswich Town and return Marcelo Biesla’s side above the likes of Middlesbrough.

Leeds United’s social team noticed Horran’s outburst and put the singer back in his place with a put down of their own.

These Leeds fans ensured the singer would not make the same mistake again.
