Loads of Leeds fans have been giving their verdict on Saturday’s momentous win, and they’re absolutely crucifying Chris Wilder’s post-game comments.
Leeds won at Bramall Lane for the first time in over two decades on Saturday, and the Whites have now won their last three matches without conceding a goal.
Marclo Bielsa’s side had to fight tooth and nail to get the three points, as Pablo Hernandez was able to pounce on a Dean Henderson mistake to make it 1-0 with just ten minutes remaining.
While there certainly could have been more goals at either end in a heart-stopping finish to the game, it ended 1-0, and Wilder doesn’t think that is a fair reflection of the match.
“It’s a bit of an unjust result in terms of the score. We were causing them just as many problems as they were causing us,” he said.
The 51 year-old isn’t exactly wrong, as Conor Washington smashed the bar in the closing stages, but fans aren’t taking too kindly to the comments.
The hosts were quite lucky to escape without serious punishment from the referee in a feisty first half, and fans are letting Wilder know about it.

Ask him about the possible leg breaking tackle & penalty we should have had?

Oops he forgot that. Wilder has an inferiority complex about Leeds as a city, rightly so as Sheffield is a dump stuck in the 70’s. Must be a South Yorks thing as Heck was the same. Wilder’s a jovial bloke when they win & a nasty piece of work when they don’t. Same as Warnock!!

Neither side did enough to win imo, but they should have had 3 players sent off, mcgoldrick straight red, stevens and baldock at least 2 yellow card tackles each, all bottled by the ref, so perhaps you were lucky to be able to compete still Wilder

What a bloody laugh, not a red card shown, if it had been the other way round we would be playing with nine men, the man’s a joker, we are the better team, get over it!
