Leeds fans not impressed by owner after post match Twitter rant

Leeds owner and chairman Andrea Radrizzani was more than a little bitter after his side’s 3-0 defeat to Wolves on Wednesday night, and fans are not best pleased with the Italian.

Leeds were comfortably beaten at Elland Road on Wednesday, as goals from Romain Saiss, Willy Boly and Benik Afobe gave the visitors a well-deserved 3-0 win.

Many people have taken issue with the role of “super agent” Jorge Mendes in Wolves’ success this season, and now we can add the Leeds owner to that list as well.

Radrizzani made his feelings known on Twitter after the match, claiming it is unfair for a club to be owned by a company with shares in a huge player agency…

The EFL are supposedly investigating these links after several clubs have echoed the sentiment of the Leeds owner.

Wolves are owned and run by Fosun international, who work closely with Jorge Mendes. Mendes represents names like Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho, as well as Wolves manager Nuno Espírito Santo, midfielder Ruben Neves, forward Diogo Jota and winger Ivan Cavaleiro.

While plenty of Championship fans will feel the same way as Radrizzani, Leeds fans are more focused on the state of their own club, and made their feelings known in response to the 43 year-old’s tweet.
