Leeds United striker Tyler Roberts has earned a call-up to the Wales squad for their upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Republic of Ireland and Denmark.
Roberts joined Leeds from West Bromwich Albion in January, but did not make a single appearance in the second half of last season due to injury.
The 19-year-old finally made his Leeds bow in a pre-season friendly against Southend United, however, before his official debut came against Bolton Wanderers in the EFL Cup earlier this month.
Roberts was also in the Leeds side that lost 2-0 at home to Preston North End in the second round of the EFL Cup on Tuesday night.
And the striker’s return to fitness has been rewarded with a spot in the Wales squad for their next two fixtures against Republic of Ireland and Denmark.
