Leeds United fans on Twitter have been overwhelmingly positive about the potential signing of Massimo Luongo from QPR.
The Australian midfielder has been linked to the club this week, and certain sections of the fanbase want to see him join.
Leeds have reportedly been looking at a number of QPR’s midfielders in the transfer window with Eberechi Eze and Luke Freeman linked earlier this summer. One supporter even stated that he hopes Luongo signs alongside Eze in this window.
The 26-year-old has been fantastic at the London club in recent years, winning QPR’s Supporters’ Player of the Year award in 2018.
He averaged 3.1 tackles per game in the Championship last season, and his good defensive performances have led to a couple of fans saying he would be a good replacement for Adam Forshaw after the midfielder was linked to Fulham.
It remains to be seen whether or not the Whites will sign Luongo, but if the Yorkshire club can finalise this deal it would certainly be a popular move.

Proper player. Watched him for Australia a lot. Proper player. Though, I said the same about Ideguchi when we signed him too having watched him for Japan a lot.
