Leeds United announced the nominees for the October Player of the Month award on their official Twitter account on Thursday, and Whites fans were not impressed.
🗳️ | Voting for October's Louis Erard Player of the Month is now open, with Lasogga, Phillips, Saiz, and Vieira nominated for the award

Thomas Christiansen’s men lost four – including against Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United – out of five league games in total during the month, winning their other match against Bristol City.
The poor run of form has them slip down to 10th in the Championship standings after they topped the table in September, and they need to get their season back on track if they are to challenge for promotion this term.
The four players nominated for the award were Pierre-Michel Lasogga, Samu Saiz, Ronaldo Vieira and Kalvin Phillips, but Leeds fans took to social media to say that they don’t believe anyone should win it.
While one said “this should be cancelled after such a terrible month”, another simply said “no one deserves it”.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
Park it up this month.

What a joke. This should be cancelled after such a terrible month. Talk about the wrong message to give the players.
