Leeds fans react as Pawel Cibicki moves closer to the Elland Road exit door

Leeds United attacker Pawel Cibicki was reportedly in attendance at Legia Warsaw’s match on Wednesday night as the 24-year-old looks set to be moved on this summer, and Whites fans were quick to have their say on his potential departure.

The Yorkshire outfit only signed him from Malmo in August for an undisclosed fee, but he has struggled to make an impression for the Championship club and the latest rumour suggests that he could be one of the first through the Elland Road exit door this summer.

The forward has only made nine appearances in all competitions for United this season, picking up assists in the wins against Queens Park Rangers and Norwich City in December, but he hasn’t played a single minute for them since Paul Heckingbottom took charge at the start of February.

Leeds supporters, who have called for Cibicki’s 24-year-old attacking teammate to be sold, took to social media to give their thoughts on Cibicki potentially departing, and while one described him as “utter tripe”, another disgreed and said “he did alright under TC”.
