Leeds United agreed to sell Jack Clarke to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer following an eye-catching debut season from the teenage prodigy.
The local-born winger returned to Elland Road immediately on a season long loan, but it’s fair to say that the agreement has been far from a fruitful one.
With Marcelo Bielsa restricted by EFL rules on the number of loanee’s he can include in his matchday squad (5), Clarke has found himself on the periphery of the senior squad.
And now Phil Hay has, rather unsurprisingly, confirmed in an exclusive report that he will be recalled by his parent club in January, while there is a suggestion that Eddie Nketiah will be following Clarke back to north London, per The Athletic.
The report also confirms that the 19-year-old will seek a loan move to another Championship club towards the end of the January window.
With that news in mind, these fans have predicted Clarke will move to Fulham or Brentford next month.
He’ll end up at Fulham or Brentford I bet. Honestly never been a huge fan, but it would be typical that he goes and has a good second half of the season for a play off rival

He will go to a London club. Fulham or brentford. Top end team and a chance for him to settle in the area. Nailed on

Only time will tell exactly where Clarke’s future lies.
These fans, however, have suggested it was a waste of time to bring him back to the club in the first place and, given his lack of involvement this season, they certainly have a point.
it was a complete waste of time, he didn’t want to be here and Bielsa wouldn’t play him unless forced to….

fair enough …never really saw the point to be honest… Once they go they go.

Clarke has played just 19 minutes of Championship football and has regularly been absent from the matchday squad, so he is likely to be relishing the opportunity to reinvent himself away from the club.
A true test for any Leeds fan: Can you match these iconic images with the right results?
And with the opportunity to reflect on the merits of the deal, these fans expressed their delight over the fee they’ve managed to command for the teenager’s services, with one piling the praise on Victor Orta’s role in negotiations.
10m for him, someone knight victor irta
