Leeds United will look to bounce back from their first defeat of the 2018-19 Championship campaign when they travel to Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night.
Leeds are still top of the Championship following a strong start, but suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Birmingham City at the weekend.
Club captain Liam Cooper has since issued a rallying cry, and the defender’s tweet has been well received by the supporters.
It would be fair to say that the Leeds fans were frustrated for long spells of last season, but things have changed since Marcelo Bielsa arrived at the club.
Leeds were knocked out of the EFL Cup by Preston North End last month, which means that they have a free week to prepare for Friday’s clash with Sheffield Wednesday.
Cooper’s tweet insisted that Leeds would ‘come back fighting’ in their next match, and the club’s supporters are confident that will be the case.
A selection of the Twitter reaction can be seen below:

Wolves lost 9 games last season and still dominated the league, this will do us more good than harm. With your leadership @LiamCooper__ we’re gonna be fine this season, bring on Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night👍👊
