The Leeds United academy has gone from strength to strength in recent months and Jordan Stevens seems to be the latest prospect who is highly thought of by the club and Victor Orta.
Despite that, the club have seen the positives to his game, as have some supporters, who have taken the opportunity to praise the youngster.
Congratulations you will be amazing for Leeds

Instead of the awful jokes I’ll just say good news and hopefully he’ll show what he’s got in for the first Team in the coming future MOT

Good lad, hope he’s learnt from his mistakes and kicks on now

Big future, whenever I’ve watched him play I’ve been very impressed.
Keep up the good work 👍.

Great news, full of pace and looks a very good player in the u23s, hope he gets some time from the bench soon.

Among the well wishes, there are messages of encouragement too, which should reinforce to the player that he needs to knuckle down and work hard to improve. Breaking into the first-team at Leeds is no easy task and it could get more difficult should they achieve promotion.
Signing a contract should be the first step for the player and act as a reassurance that he is doing the right things, but he must build on that by continuing to add to his game and learn from the coaching staff, as other young players have done.
He has the likes of Jack Clarke and Jamie Shackleton to learn from, and the path to the first team that Marcelo Bielsa has created should act as a source of motivation to prevent future instances of rule-breaking, which many supporters still associate with him.
Bit of a gamble this one. 😉
