According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds’ Samuel Saiz is subject to interest from Getafe CF – the La Liga outfit are keen to take the Spaniard back across the channel in January.
The 27-year-old – a £3m signing from Huesca in 2017 – is apparently desperate to make a return to Spanish football as soon as possible having become unsettled at Elland Road.
Having made 19 Championship appearances for the Peacocks this season, the want-away midfielder has failed to find the net as of yet and has teed up teammates just three times – astonishing considering he netted five and chalked up eight assists last year.
Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa recently criticised the playmaker for his underwhelming performances, saying, “I expect from him the capacity to beat an opponent and I hope he gets this back”.
You can find the best of Leeds fans’ reactions to the rumours below, with many of the belief that Saiz’s exit would not be as catastrophic as first thought…
He’s not been as good as we all thought he would be. Pablo is miles better.

Easy decision, take £10m+, Hernandez move into the no. 10 role, use money to bring in new RW (possibly Lens or Ibai Gomez) No drama #LUFC

Hasn’t been starting. Doesn’t seem to like the winter grind. Off you pop lad. Ideal opportunity for brown to do what he did for the dog botherers.

If he wants to go to getafe…. then jog on pal. Leeds is massive end of discussion. Love it or leave

Izzy Brown coming back so he’ll slot right in. Cash in Samu if he’s not settled as we need unity to shoot for promotion.

If there’s profit take it. He’s done nothing this season and won’t be missed
