Lots of Leeds fans have been reacting to an update on the fitness of Gaetano Berardi, after the Swiss defender limped out of an Under-23’s match on Monday.
According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, Berardi will miss the trip to Rotherham this weekend, but his injury is not as bad as first feared.
The 30 year-old had been missing since he picked up a hamstring injury against Ipswich in October, but returned to action for a development squad cup-tie against Southampton on Monday.

What was meant to be his welcome back day soon turned sour though, as the versatile fan favourite was withdrawn before half time after pulling up injured.
While this setback means he will definitely not be available to face Rotherham this weekend, it is not expected to delay the original comeback date of early February.
Bielsa will welcome back Kalvin Phillips to his ranks this weekend after a three-game ban, but Pontus Jansson’s red card against Stoke means the boss is still desperately short of options at the back.
Whether the club elects to pursue defensive signings this month is yet to be seen, but plenty of fans have been reacting to the update on Berardi, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…

I know Rob Price was brought in specifically on his record of getting players back earlier than expected, but do you think that twinned with Bielsa’s hard training has been why so many players have broken down again after coming back early? Bamford, Berardi, Brown? #Lufc
