Pablo Hernandez has scored six times and provided seven assists in 31 appearances in all competitions for Leeds United during the 2017-18 campaign.
The attacker will be out of contract at the end of the current season, however, and it has been suggested that he will be allowed to leave Elland Road on a free transfer.
The 32-year-old, who is valued at £2.3m by transfermarkt.co.uk, racked up an assist in the 2-1 defeat at Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon, meanwhile, and his season statistics are impressive.
It seems that the Leeds fans are split though when it comes to deciding whether the Spaniard should be handed a starting role, or appear off the bench.
Leeds have lost five of their last seven in the Championship to drop into 11th position in the table, and it seems increasingly unlikely that they will be able to secure a playoff position come the end of the season.
Hernandez continues to put impressive numbers on the board for Leeds, but the supporters are undecided whether he deserves to start every match.

Pablo Hernández gave an impressive performance when he replaced the injured Kemar Roofe just before half time against #SUFC. Here are his stats from the game at the weekend ? #EFL #LUFC #MOT @PhillipStoner pic.twitter.com/XxkpyFxnWl

Only midfielder who can actually make things happen with saiz. Need to bring in some serious quality in the summer.

At his best off the bench as an impact player. Particularly in tighter away games like the derbies #lufc

Has to start simple as that

Has he been injured every other game he has played?

If he stayed on his feet, would look better

With Saiz been such a liability who creates next season if don’t extend his deal?
