Leeds fans hit back after Birmingham man’s comments

Leeds United fans are up in arms on Twitter due to comments made by Kristian Pedersen regarding their clash with Birmingham City this weekend.

Despite Leeds’ good run of form, the Blues defender fancies his chances against Leeds this weekend, hoping his team can replicate the performance that saw them win 2-1 at Elland Road in September.

Leeds fans aren’t happy that Pedersen is so confident heading into Saturday’s game though, attributing Birmingham’s win earlier in the season to luck, time-wasting and bad officiating.

“We won against Leeds last time. Yes they’re a leading team in the league but my personal mentality is I don’t care who it is.” Pedersen said, as reported by The Birmingham Mail.

“They’re not unbeatable and they’ve lost games. We’ll do our best to make it difficult for Leeds.”

Birmingham are now in a relegation fight after their points deduction left them 18th in the table.

Garry Monk’s side have lost their last five games and a clash with Leeds on Saturday doesn’t exactly present an easy chance to get back on track, even despite beating the Whites earlier this campaign.

And Leeds fans have fired back after Pedersen showed his confidence ahead of the upcoming game. Some just couldn’t believe his comments, even calling Birmingham the worst team to come to Elland Road this term.
